Macroom District Environmental Group

The Macroom and District Environmental Group is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation that:

• Conserves and protects local nature and heritage for the common good.
• Promotes awareness of interdependancy with the natural world.
• Informs about actions which diminish or enhance nature’s capacities.
• Promotes, for the benefit of all individuals, the ideas and practices that yield naturally sustainable prosperity.
• Produces goods and services which provide for these aims.
